How does it feel like staying in bloom? An insider journey
Recently, I had a business trip to Delhi and had to stay in bloom for a week. My friend suggested booking a Bloomroom as he had an incredible stay there during his trip to Goa with his family. I booked a room at Bloom Boutique in Greater Kailash-1. It was the Deluxe king room. I got the best price as I booked directly from their website. The Bloom Boutique was a massive structure on Hansraj Gupta Road with a beautiful outlook in its signature yellow with white shade. As soon as I entered the hotel I was greeted warmly by the receptionist who told me about the simple entry procedures. Then, I was directed to my room.
My room was remarkably modern and well-designed. It was really spacious, consisting of a huge comfortable bed, two-night tables and night lamps on either side, a medium-sized refrigerator, a large cupboard with glass doors that had enough space to store my luggage, an elegant tea table, and 2 wooden carved chairs with soft and snug seats. There was a travel desk too which I felt would be perfect for working as it had an international power socket. All their furniture was extremely stylish and of great quality. Even, the curtains and paintings complimented the entire look of the room. My room had a glass window but I kept it closed most of the time as I would be working. But, the view through it was very beautiful especially in the early mornings when the sun is still rising. If you don’t want too much sun you could always pull out the large blackout curtains.
The bathroom was quite simple with a rainfall showerhead, a washbasin with a large mirror (perfect for mirror selfies) a toilet, and all the toiletries that one would need from soap to bath towels. I loved how the entire bathroom and even my room were simply spotless. Being an addict to cleanliness, the room felt like heaven for me. During my stay for the entire week, the housekeeping made sure the room was maintained with the same level of cleanliness. I didn’t want to be disturbed while I was working so, they were kind enough to do the cleaning while I went out to eat.
Food is something that I should really mention. They have a restaurant and cafe as part of their hotel services and I loved their menu. I had a lot of variety to chose from each and every day. I never repeated my food in the whole week and it was simply delish. I became a fan of their omelet. The in-room dining option was very convenient especially when I’m busy with work. Their coffee was just perfect to recharge myself after a busy day. The refrigerator was very helpful as I prefer cold water and also for storing food, especially to soothe my mid-night cravings
Their bed was one of the most comfortable places I’ve ever slept. I learned that they were from their signature brand called Cloud beds specifically catering to all Bloomrooms. After work was over I could go to sleep in a jiffy because of their feather-soft bed and self-adjusting air conditioning. They had a 24/7 reception and concierge service so I could get everything that I needed within minutes from replacing toiletries to laundry services. The wifi quality was pretty good and never disrupted my work. Their digital safe was a lifesaver. I didn’t have to carry my laptop and other expensive belongings wherever I went and could keep it inside safely without being anxious all the time. The room had a TV with local channels available though I rarely had time to watch any. They also had other services like dry cleaning, ironing options, and a hairdryer. So, you don’t have to bring them during your stay here.
Overall, I had an incredible stay at the Bloom boutique with more than enough amenities and pleasant service. The hospitality here was indeed very wholesome and always brought a smile to my face. They also offered pick-up and drop services to the Indira Gandhi Airport which was very opportune for me given my large luggage. Staybloom has become my trusted hotel service. My next stay in Delhi would surely be with them without a second thought. Though I stayed here alone, my room would be perfect even for 2 people. If you wanted to stay as 2-3 members you could check out their other stay options.
