1.Sabarmati Ashram:

The architecture is a beautiful blend of Gujrati Sompura and Rajasthani Khamira style with pleasingly decorated marble floors, ceilings, and ornate pillars. Lose yourself dancing to delightful Krishna bhajans that take place at the temple each day.

3. Kankaria lake :


This majestic beauty is the second largest lake of Ahmedabad, Gujrat. Tourists can either stroll by the lake or explore innumerable activities such as the zoo, toy train,hot-air balloon ride, water-based rides, etc that surround the lake.


This place is also famous for holding social and cultural gatherings. 


If you happen to visit anytime around December-January then do not miss out on the Carnival festival that is celebrated surrounding this lake!


Fun fact: Kankar in Gujrati means pebble!

4. Jama Masjid :


Jama Masjid, also known as Juma Mosque is famous for its historical significance. It has strikingly beautiful architecture with extended peaceful courtyards. This Mosque depicts Islamic fusion with Hindu and Jain architecture. The mosque is carved in floral and geometric patterns and decorated with ornate jalis.


It is a significant prayer place for Muslims. It has a noticeably immense prayer hall consisting of 260 columns. And there are 15 domes on the roof of the mosque. The architectural fusion of different cultures is truly striking! Rani no Hajiro, famously known for tombstones is a short distance away from the mosque.


Since this is an active prayer site, tourists are advised to maintain silence and adhere to the regulations of this place.

5.Manek chowk : 


Being the second-largest jewelry market in India, this place has an abundance to offer.
